First impression when you read the blog's address, we bet that you might think about these;
1) Sweet Rotan? Gula-Gula rotan ke? eh? makanan? (request to use Malay words)
2) Is there any relation between sweet and rotan and classroom management?
3) The admins probably having insufficient of ideas to find better name. (ouch, it hurts...heheh..)
4) All above and in addition anything you might think of which is not stated here.
Well, the three of us agreed that sweet rotan will be our trademark at the same time our blog's name. During the old ages, our grandparents, our parents, and our teachers actually were very familiar with rotan a.k.a Cane.. Cane that used to punish the students if they doing something wrong and against the school rules. To speak the truth, even during our childhood, caning "session" still carried out and it taught us to be a responsible human.
Nowadays, not many teachers using cane to control the students behaviour. teacher nowadays must be more creative so they can dominate the class during the lesson and make sure the lesson run smoothly. So, sweet rotan stands for, the effective ways for teachers to manage the classroom and behaviour of students in or out of the classroom instead of using hard punishment. We really hope that our justification on choosing our blog's name satisfied our beloved awe-inspiring readers.
